Criminal Investigations: Port Richey Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, also known as the CID or detectives, tasks include but are not limited to in-depth criminal investigations, performing comprehensive pre-employment background investigations, follow-up on citizen complaints and Internal Affairs (IA) investigations as assigned. In addition, serves as a liaison between the PRPD and the State Attorney’s Office (SAO) and with other law enforcement agencies on joint investigations and or operations.
